The Warrior 170 MKIII Single-Phase MIG Welder is a 170 Amp portable inverter MIG welder with a 240V single-phase input @ 100% duty cycle making it ideal for welding up to 6mm thickness. Reliable, easy to use and high-quality, this multi-functional welding machine provides gas and gasless MIG welding, MMA arc welding and stick welding.
Unlike any other brand, the Warrior 170 MKIII Single-Phase MIG Welder has soft start and a powerful four roller wire-feed making it ideal for aluminium MIG welding. Our optional Warrior Aluminium MIG Welding Kit enables you to modify your Warrior 170 MIG Welder to start welding aluminium immediately.
This MIG welding machine provides stepless adjustable welding with excellent welding characteristics, including variable burnback and spatter control. During testing it reached maximum amperage of 225A.
The Warrior 170 MKIII Single-Phase MIG Welder’s highly efficient design allows it to run off a domestic 13A/240V supply or our Bison Whisper Single-Phase 10kVA Diesel Generator.

After about 10 years of excellent service out of my Warrior 250 MIG and still working hard in our boat yard, I bought the fantastic little Warrior 170 MIG. First job with it was welding 6mm plates to the bottom of a boat which the 170 did with ease. 2nd job was repairing steel railings on the roof of a 5 story building with only a 13 amp domestic supply on the roof and the 170 performed brilliantly.
