Bought a single-phase 250 MIG with aluminium kit for work. It’s a fantastic bit of kit and, as expected, much better than TIG on ‘dirty’ aluminium that I repair a lot of. Selling point was light machine with extra long hose and power cable as I lift it up on the hiab to where I’m using it and the bottle can stay on the ground / truck bed. Lovely smooth weld on mild steel and aluminium so far. Haven’t ran STST wire through it yet.
