The Warrior 170 Single-Phase MIG Welder is a 170 Amp portable inverter MIG welder with a 240V single-phase input @ 100% duty cycle making it ideal for welding up to 6mm thickness. Reliable, easy to use and high-quality, this multi-functional welding machine provides gas and gasless MIG welding, MMA arc welding, stick welding and scratch start TIG welding.

Unlike any other brand, the Warrior 170 Single-Phase MIG Welder has soft start and a powerful four roller wire-feed making it ideal for aluminium MIG welding. Our optional Warrior Aluminium MIG Welding Kit enables you to modify your Warrior 170 MIG Welder to start welding aluminium immediately.

This MIG welding machine provides stepless adjustable welding with excellent welding characteristics, including variable burnback and spatter control. During testing it reached maximum amperage of 225A.

The Warrior 170 Single-Phase MIG Welder’s highly efficient design allows it to run off a domestic 13A/240V supply or either our Bison Mark II 10kVA or Bison Whisper Single-Phase 10kVA Diesel Generator.

If you sign up for a new BOC account, we will supply a PD bottle of Argoshield Light gas FOR FREE, although, you will be charged a annual cylinder rental of £23.80 for this cylinder. Charges are current BOC charges and subject to BOC changing their prices.

The bottle will provide about 50 minutes of continuous welding. It contains eight times the capacity of the disposable argon bottles and provides an ideal solution for the occasional user.
