The Warrior 170 Single Phase MIG Welder is a 170 Amp portable inverter MIG welder with a 240V single-phase input @ 100% duty cycle making it ideal for welding up to 6mm thickness. Reliable, easy to use and high-quality, this multi-functional welding machine provides gas and gasless MIG welding, MMA arc welding, stick welding and scratch start TIG welding.

Unlike any other brand, our 170 Single Phase MIG Welder has soft start and a powerful four roller wire-feed making it ideal for aluminium MIG welding. Our optional Warrior Aluminium MIG Welding Kit enables you to modify your Warrior 170 MIG Welder to start welding aluminium immediately.

This MIG welding machine provides stepless adjustable welding with excellent welding characteristics, including variable burnback and spatter control. During testing it reached maximum amperage of 225A.

The Warrior 170 Single-Phase MIG Welder’s highly efficient design allows it to run off a domestic 13A/240V supply or our Bison Mark II 10kVA Diesel Generator.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

Everything is superb – I have been welding with it for about 2 hours now, configured and marked up all my amp settings and it runs great and super smooth, especially at 220 amps where, with a steady hand, it only deviates +/-2 amps! Salute to Phil for doing a remarkable job on setting these up! For many years I have pondered on having a MIG plant running off a genny instead of using genset stick, especially for speed and troublesome large gaps to fill. Can’t wait to get out onsite and try it.

I’ve been looking at plasma cutters for a long time now and I phoned and spoke to Phil and after running through all the information and my requirements we decided on the Cut100. They didn’t have one in stock but within a week of the first phone call they had built me one up and it was ready to be collected. I tried it on some 30mm plate to make sure it was suitable for the work I do which it is more than enough. I was shown how to use the machine and given plenty of tips and tricks to do with the machine. From start to finish, Warrior Welders have been a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable within their line of work and I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I know this definitely won’t be my last dealings with Warrior Welders.
